Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Strati Timer (the “Service”), published by Ngoc Tran, trading as Delnart Studio (see the Legal Notice for full publisher details). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Strati Timer is a speedcubing timer and training tool. Core timing and practice features work without an account. Creating a free account lets you sync your data across devices and use social features (friends, leaderboards, public profiles). We plan to introduce optional premium features in the future, requiring an account and a paid subscription or purchase — these terms will be updated with the specific pricing, billing, and cancellation terms before any paid feature is offered.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 15 to create an account, or older if the country you live in sets a higher minimum age for consenting to your own data being processed — several do. Below that age, a parent or guardian has to agree first. The timer itself works without an account, at any age.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your password secure.
• You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• One account per person — don’t create accounts to impersonate someone else or to manipulate leaderboards.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, particularly around abuse of social features or leaderboards.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, impersonate, or abuse other users;
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service’s normal operation;
• Submit falsified solve times or results with intent to mislead leaderboards or other users;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create through the Service (solve times, profile information, session names, etc.). By using social features, you grant us the license needed to store and display that content to other users as part of the normal operation of those features (e.g. a friend seeing your personal bests, or your name appearing on a leaderboard) — scoped to whatever visibility you’ve chosen in your own sharing settings.

5. Third-party services

Strati Timer optionally integrates with the World Cube Association (WCA) if you choose to link your account. Strati Timer is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the WCA. Your use of WCA data obtained through this integration is also subject to the WCA’s own terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Strati Timer name, logo, and the application’s original design and code belong to Delnart Studio unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Service without permission, beyond what’s needed for your own personal use of it.

7. Disclaimer of warranty

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that your data will never be lost — though we take reasonable care to prevent that (see the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled). Solve times and statistics are provided for personal training purposes and aren’t official WCA results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Delnart Studio won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or solve history.

9. Changes to the Service or these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that can’t be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
